If you opt in, Bubble texts you only about Bubble — launch news, application updates, availability checks, confirmations, feedback reminders, and new rounds. No third-party ads, no spam. Reply STOP anytime to opt out.

1. Program Description

Bubble Date Updates is a text-message program operated by Bubble (Berry Street Research Group LLC) that sends updates about your Bubble membership: a launch announcement when the Bubble app is ready to download, updates on the status of your application, availability checks ("can you make this event?"), match and event confirmations, post-date feedback reminders, and announcements when a new round of Bubble opens. Messages are sent only to people who opted in. We never send third-party advertising; occasional Bubble announcements (like the app launch or a new round opening) are part of the program.

2. How You Opt In

There are two ways to opt in, and both are off by default:

On the website — by checking the SMS consent box on the early-list form at bubble.dating. Providing a phone number is optional.
In the iOS app— by turning on the "Also text me date updates" toggle on the Date Updates step of your application.

Consent is not a condition of joining the early list, using Bubble, or any purchase. We send a one-time confirmation text when you opt in.

3. Message Frequency and Rates

Message frequency varies with your dating activity — typically a few messages per round of Bubble, plus occasional announcements like the app launch or a new round opening. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.

4. Opting Out and Getting Help

Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive a final message confirming the opt-out, and we will not text you again unless you opt back in (reply START or re-enable the toggle in the app).

5. Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The program is available on major US carriers; availability on other carriers may vary.

6. Privacy

Your phone number and opt-in consent are used only to deliver these updates, as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding the vendors and platform providers that deliver messages on our behalf.
