1. What Information We Collect

When you sign up for Bubble, we collect the following:

• Account info — your name, email address, and basic profile details you provide during onboarding.
• Google account email data — with your explicit consent, we request read-only access to your Gmail to help our matching system understand your preferences and lifestyle.
• Conversations with Bubble — messages you exchange with our matchmaking assistant via Telegram.
• Feedback and date reports — your reactions and notes after dates so our model can learn what you're looking for.

2. How We Use Your Email Data

This is the important part. Your email data is used exclusively for:

• Understanding your interests, social context, and lifestyle to improve match quality.
• Identifying patterns that help us figure out who you'd actually vibe with.
• Verifying your identity and ensuring you're a real person (not a bot, not a catfish).

Your email data is never used for advertising, marketing to you, profiling you for third parties, or any purpose unrelated to matchmaking. Full stop.

3. What We Don't Do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
• We do not use your data for targeted advertising.
• We do not let anyone outside our matching system see your emails.
• We do not store raw email content longer than necessary — we extract relevant signals and discard the rest.
• We do not send emails on your behalf or modify your inbox in any way.

4. Data Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices including OAuth 2.0 for authentication and Google Cloud infrastructure for storage. Access to user data is restricted to authorized systems only — no humans read your emails.

5. Revoking Access

You can revoke Bubble's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions. You can also message us directly and we'll remove everything. When access is revoked, we delete all stored email data associated with your account.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and matching data for as long as you use Bubble. If you delete your account, we delete all of your data within 30 days. Derived matching signals (anonymized) may be retained to improve our models, but these cannot be traced back to you.

7. Google API Services Disclosure

Bubble's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make meaningful changes, we'll let you know via Telegram or email before they take effect. We won't silently change how we use your data.
